WDW 50: New Arrival Experience at Orlando International Airport Welcomes Visitors to the World’s Most Magical Celebration

Walt Disney World guests will experience some of the fun of the world’s most magical celebration from the moment they land at Orlando International Airport with new terminal train art installations and a photo op!

What is happening:

  • Back in July, the Disney Parks Blog shared a look in the new facilities that would come to the Orlando International Airport to welcome guests to “the beautiful city” while promoting the world’s most magical celebration taking place at Walt Disney World.

  • These new additions transform the airport arrival experience at terminal stations and provide unique photo opportunities as soon as customers step inside.
  • A twinkling glow of EARidescent light projections upon arrival of visitors to Central Florida also awaits you.
  • Disney is also working with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) on opening a new Magic of Disney store with the South Terminal Complex in 2022.

What they say :

  • Phil Brown, President and CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority: “Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World share a commitment to the Central Florida community. We are proud to recognize the exceptional accomplishments of our longtime partner as they celebrate this impressive 50th anniversary. Collaborating on a commemorative presence at Florida’s busiest airport means we’re the first moment of celebration for guests arriving in Orlando to be part of the spectacular marching band.

Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary:

“The World’s Most Magical Celebration” begins October 1, 2021 at Walt Disney World Resort and will continue to be celebrated for 18 months.
